Pumpkin Pickin'

While Weylu's cousin was in town we took the kids to Hunsader's Farm to pick pumpkin's. This is a very fun fall tradition that we have started with the kids. They love to run around in the hay. In years past we have just posed for pictures and then Weylu and I would pick our prize pumpkin, but this year Lucy was old enough to pick her own. What was so comical about this year is that Hudson and Christopher kept picking up the pumkins declaring them "balls" and then launching them into the air. Christina and I found this behavior hilarious! They also liked to sit on the pumpkins and kick them. In the end we bought two pumkins just Lucy and Hudson's size. We are really looking forward to this fall and winter seasons. Please continue to check in and read about our other adventures!

Fall is Here

The weather is starting to change and the kids look like they are getting older, which of course they are. It is amazing how fast they grow.

Please keep in your prayers my brother Adam, he is having surgery tomorrow, Thursday, to repair his broken collar bone.

Finally Moved!

Well to everyone who has ever moved before and I am sure all of you have. It SUCKS big time! We are no longer living in a cardboard jungle. Although I haven't unpacked everything yet and don't dare try to find anything or park a car in the garage. We finally got cable, internet and phone service. So I can feel some what civilized again.
Ok so while we were living like cavemen we missed the Republican Convention, Hurricane Ike and the news that my cousin Brian is getting married!
Any way, we are logged back into the matrix. So, give us some time to return your emails. I will also be getting our new contact information out to all friends and family ( not via the blog).

Hurricane, will travel?

Hello from the "Sunshine State"?
Well, we may get a lot of sunshine but we also get a lot of rain. Tropical Storm Fay is our first big storm of the season here in SWCFL. My mom called early this morning to see what our plans were if we would be staying at our house or staying with other family. To which I replied, an are you kidding me, "NO, it is only a tropical storm!" Well she continued to tell me I should at least go to the store and buy some supplies just in case we lose power or aren't able to get clean water.
So, mom if you are reading this I got water and some Vienna Sausages.=)
Currently, the storm is forecasted to hit our area about 2am, with winds of about 40mph. Check back tomorrow to read my blog after the storm, that is if we haven't blown away.

I have received several calls from you all about us MOVING!
We are moving in 2 wks. just down the road. The house isn't sold yet and I actually just got a call today from our realtors assistant informing us, the current buyers cancelled the contract. I am a little bit discouraged, because this is the second buyer we have lost due to the bank being so slow. But, I am still believing in God for a miracle. This is His house and He will sell it when the time is right!

Bye, for now I leave you with another adorable picture of Lucy and Hudson with PawPaw and Oni.

Back to Life on the Main Land

So, we have returned home from our stay on Cortez Beach. We are refreshed, tanner and ready to start our count down to moving day! (More on that later)
The beach was WONDERFUL! We were visited by Elisa Gardana and her kids, my Mom, and Weylu's parents and sister Weyli, and the Davidson's. I thought that I had taken more photos of the vacation but as it turns out I only took pics the first and last nights during sunset.

Date Night! We went to Stonewood Grill and it was soooo good.

This is such a happy picture of Hudson.
